Baseball, under the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), will be featured at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. The tournament will consist of six teams. Baseball/softball is one of five sports added to the program of the 2020 Summer Olympics only, with no guarantee it will return in 2024.
